PASTOR: Reverend Jon-Paul Gallant
Reverend Deacon Rick Varieur
We, at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish, strive to imitate the example of our patroness in the "little ways" of serving God by serving one another. St. Theresa's is centered in prayer and the sacramental life of the Catholic Church, especially the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Our mission is summed up in the Commandment of Christ:
"Love One Another, As I Have Loved You."
I would like to offer a word of prayerful thanks to all those who were involved in the celebration of my 40th anniversary of ordination last Sunday. To Becky Dean, the chief organizer, and all the many groups who assisted: Women’s Guild, St. Vincent de Paul, Youth Group, Choir, Knights of Columbus, Altar Servers and all the parishioners who joined in the Holy Mass or luncheon reception may God bless your kindness. My Mother and my family members were so grateful for the warm welcome you offered.
I am also grateful for the many prayers, cards, and generous gifts which were graciously given to me. I am humbled by your generosity. May I impose a bit more and ask you to continue to keep me in your prayers and to pray for vocations to the Priesthood from right here in our parish. May Jesus Christ, the Great High Priest, fill you all with His blessings.
A great show of parishioners at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus showed up to contribute in the Little Ways of their patroness this past Sunday for their annual bazaar kickoff planning meeting. Many hands will make the work light and much fun as we put together our annual Christmas in the Village bazaar.
